Product Menu

Product-related menus are accessible from the product menu.

Published Products

All published product list is available from the Cloud Product menu. 

A product can be an Item or a Resource. Generally, any physical inventoriable products are mapped to the Items, and non-inventoriable products are mapped to the Resources. 

From the Product menu, you can access the Business Central Items, Resources, and Chart of Accounts. Price Update Logs shows price upload status.

Create and publish products

Inventoriable Products

To create and publish inventoriable products, go to the Business Central Item card and then click on Create SEMBA Item menu.

Mandatory values are:

• No.
• Description
• Base Unit of Measure
• Sales Unit of Measure
• Product Category
• Publish Type

Non-Inventoriable Products

You use Resources to create non-inventoriables products. Go to the Resources page and click on Create SEMBA Resource.

Mandatory values are:

• No.
• Name
• Base Unit of Measure
• Product Category
• Publish Type

Price Update Log

Shows the price upload status. You should check for errors after loading product prices and customer-specific product prices.
